Are you only seeing a chiropractor when you're experiencing back pain, neck pain, or headaches? While chiropractic care is known to be effective in relieving pain, it offers more than just pain relief. In fact, there are numerous health benefits associated with regular chiropractic care that you may not know about.
Chiropractic care involves spinal adjustments that can restore the structural integrity of your spine, reduce pressure on nerves, and help alleviate pain. But it doesn't stop there. Regular chiropractic care can also improve joint mobility, decrease joint degeneration and inflammation, improve circulation, strengthen your immune system, and improve your nervous system function.
In addition to that, chiropractic care can improve your overall health and wellness by improving your cognitive ability, energy levels, and sleep quality. It can also help relieve prenatal discomfort, decrease the length of labor, and improve athletic performance.
At Complete Performance Center we offer a comprehensive approach to managing your condition. After a thorough examination, we may recommend additional therapy modalities such as shockwave, massage, muscle stimulation, therapeutic exercise, PRP, stem cell therapy or natural supplements to support your recovery.

What to Expect During a Chiropractic Adjustment
If you’ve never had a chiropractic adjustment before, you might wonder what to expect during the appointment. We will ask you a series of questions regarding your current health status to determine if you’re experiencing neck pain, back pain, headaches, shoulder pain, and other related conditions. From there, we will look at your spine, body, biomechanics, and posture to determine if any issues are present. During the actual chiropractic adjustment process, you’ll lay on a padded table and the chiropractor will use his or her hands and/or small adjustment tools to manipulate the spine and joints of the body to improve overall joint motion. This is usually not painful and some people even report it feeling a pop or crackle of the spinal joints followed by pain relief.
Effective chiropractic adjustments require an accurate evaluation and prompt care using safe, effective chiropractic techniques.
